I heard it at park days and co-op meetings, in late-night group chats and nervous first conversations with parents just testing the waters. I said it myself. Deciding to homeschool was one of the most exciting choices our family ever made — and one of the most overwhelming. The moment we committed, we ran straight into a wall of options. Curricula everywhere. Philosophies with names we didn't recognize. A hundred confident voices online, all pointing in different directions.
Choosing felt enormous. There were so many paths, so many programs, so many opinions, that the decision that was supposed to feel freeing started to feel paralyzing. It was exhausting. What should have been the beginning of something joyful had turned into a daunting, draining task — and we hadn't even taught a single lesson yet.
Eventually we found our footing. But I kept noticing that almost every family around me — brand-new homeschoolers and seasoned ones alike — was stuck in that same fog. Not because they weren't capable. These were devoted, thoughtful parents. They were simply overwhelmed by choice, with no clear, calm way to figure out what actually fit their child and their family.
That's when I realized what was missing. Not another curriculum — there were already more than anyone could sort through. What families needed was guidance: something to help them cut through the noise, understand their options, and find the right path for them, whether they were just starting out or years in and rethinking their approach.
So I built it.

It doesn't replace you or your curriculum. It helps you carry it, so the daunting parts feel doable and the joyful parts have room to breathe.
